Dak Lak promotes tour connectivity and tourist destination development

On June 10, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee (PPC) organized a Conference on tour connectivity and tourist destination development at Rosa Alba Resort Tuy Hoa. The Conference was attended by PPC Vice Chairman Dao My, representatives of provincial departments and agencies, tourism associations, travel companies, airlines, accommodation establishments and tourism-related businesses.

Following the reorganisation of provincial administrative units, the expanded development space has opened up new opportunities for Dak Lak's tourism sector. By bringing together the forests and cultural heritage of the Central Highlands with the coastal attractions of the south-central region, the province is well positioned to develop a wider range of unique tourism products and experiences. The province offers a wide range of attractions, including Yok Don and Chu Yang Sin national parks, Lak Lake, Buon Don, Ako Dhong Village, Ganh Da Dia, Xuan Dai Bay, O Loan Lagoon, Mui Dien, Vung Ro Bay and Nghinh Phong Tower. These attractions provide a strong foundation for Dak Lak to diversify its tourism products and attract more visitors.

At the Conference, participants discussed a number of key issues, including positioning Dak Lak's tourism brand, developing distinctive tourism products, expanding tour routes connecting the highlands and coastal areas, promoting digital transformation and sustainable tourism, and proposing measures to attract strategic investors.

Speaking at the conference, PPC Vice Chairman Dao My emphasized that tourism development should be driven by stronger cooperation and regional connectivity to maximise the province's tourism potential. He said Dak Lak would continue to expand partnerships with localities in the Central Highlands, the central coastal region, the Southeast region and major tourism centres across the country. The province would also work closely with airlines, travel companies and strategic investors to diversify tourism products and attract more visitors.

Within the framework of the conference, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed cooperation agreements with travel companies. Travel businesses also reached agreements with hotels, tourist attractions, restaurants and transport providers to offer better services and special promotions for visitors. These efforts are expected to attract more tourists to Dak Lak and support the province's tourism development.
