On June 20, Bac Tay Nguyen Mineral Investment Joint Stock Company, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Tan Tien Commune, held a groundbreaking ceremony and announced the 1/500-scale detailed construction planning for the Tan Tien Industrial Cluster Technical Infrastructure Investment Project.
The ceremony was attended by comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputies’ Delegation; comrade Nguyen Thuong Hai, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Commission; comrade Dao My, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); comrade Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; along with representatives from relevant provincial departments and agencies.

The Tan Tien Industrial Cluster spans 74.92 hectares with a total investment of VND 471 billion, developed by Bac Tay Nguyen Mineral Investment Joint Stock Company. The cluster is planned to attract investment in agricultural processing, cold storage, logistics, quality testing and inspection, and export support services.
The cluster will be developed in phases. At full capacity, it is expected to accommodate around 25 investment projects, attracting approximately VND 2,500 billion in capital and generating employment for up to 3,000 workers.
The project is seen as a key initiative for Tan Tien Commune, with the potential to drive investment, reshape the local workforce, and improve living standards for residents across Dak Lak Province.

The groundbreaking is one of several events leading up to the Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference, set for June 26–27. In the coming days, a number of projects in energy, processing, tourism, and social housing are also expected to break ground across the province.
As of now, the investor has completed key preparatory work, including mine and unexploded ordnance clearance, approval of the 1/500-scale detailed construction plan, and agreement on compensation and site clearance costs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dak Lak PPC Vice Chairman Dao My praised the close coordination among provincial departments, local authorities, and the investor in completing the necessary procedures ahead of the groundbreaking. He urged Bac Tay Nguyen Mineral Investment Joint Stock Company to finalize all required administrative procedures, mobilize adequate staffing and equipment, and deliver the project before December 2026 to ensure timely operation.

The Departments of Construction, Finance, and Agriculture and Environment were called on to proactively address any difficulties, proposals, or procedural issues raised by the investor to facilitate smooth construction progress. The People's Committee of Tan Tien Commune was directed to work closely with the investor throughout the construction process and maintain security and public order in the area.
Vice Chairman Dao My affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee, together with relevant departments and local authorities, is committed to supporting the investor throughout the project's implementation. He expressed hope that the Tan Tien Industrial Cluster will become operational as soon as possible, drawing in investment, creating local jobs, and contributing to Dak Lak's economic growth.
On this occasion, Bac Tay Nguyen Mineral Investment Joint Stock Company presented social welfare gifts to Tan Tien Commune valued at VND 300 million. As part of the program, representatives of the Tan Tien Industrial Cluster, the Dak Lak Durian Association, and Simexco Daklak signed a MoU to develop an integrated ecosystem of logistics, trade, technology, and support services for the fruit export industry.
