Press Conference on the Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference

On the afternoon of June 19, the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee organized a press conference to provide information on the Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference.

The press conference was attended by Ms. Phuc Binh Nie Kdam, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; representatives of relevant agencies, and localities; as well as reporters and journalists from central and local press and news agencies.

The Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference will take place over two days, June 26-27, 2026 at the Pytopia Convention Center in Tuy Hoa Ward, and other venues within the province.

In addition to the main event, the press conference will feature a number of sideline activities, including the groundbreaking ceremonies/inaugurations/launches of several key projects and works; a meeting between voters and dialogue sessions with businesses, cooperatives, and household businesses; the Vietnam Private Economic Forum - Local Dialogue Round in Dak Lak; a workshop on the development of industrial zones and clusters in connection with deep processing industries and inter-regional logistics; a workshop on “High-Tech Agricultural Development: Opportunities and Strategies for Businesses”; a workshop on “Digital Transformation and Sustainable Business Ecosystem Development”; a trade fair featuring typical rural industrial products and OCOP products from Dak Lak province and neighboring provinces, etc.

Futhermore, a number of other activities will also be held on the sidelines of the Conference, involving bilateral meetings between provincial leaders and businesses and investors seeking investment opportunities in the province; site visits to potential investment locations; exhibitions featuring the provincial signature products and OCOP products from Dak Lak and neighboring localities; as well as displays of provincial planning adjustment maps, planning diagrams, promotional publications and other investment promotion materials, etc.

At the press conference, representatives of media agencies raised a number of issues concerning workforce preparation, expectations for the conference, the provincial commitments and solutions to ensure that investment pledges are effectively implemented following the event, and strategic transport infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing interregional connectivity…

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Truong Cong Thai emphasized that the Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference is an event of special significance. This is not only an occasion to officially announce the Provincial Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision towards 2050, but also an opportunity for the province to introduce its development vision and new spatial development orientation; to promote its potential, competitive advantages, investment environment, and cooperation opportunities in the new period.

The Conference reflects the province’s determination to promptly put the Master Plan into practice; to transform potentials and advantages into concrete programs, projects, and development resources; and to create new momentum for socio-economic growth, improve the living standards of the people, and enhance the province’s position and competitiveness in the coming period.

The Conference is also an opportunity for the province to strengthen its connection with the business and investor community, as well as domestic and international organizations; to expand development cooperation, attract investment resources, and contribute to realizing the goal of building Dak Lak into a dynamic and sustainable development locality, effectively leveraging the advantages of the new development space following the merger.

Mr. Truong Cong Thai noted that, as of now, preparations for the Conference is being actively carried out by provincial agencies and units. Dak Lak Province is making every effort to ensure the best possible conditions for the Conference to be a success - truly becoming a significant milestone in the implementation of the Provincial Master Plan and the attraction of investment in the new period.
